What to expect
First you must decide what type of massage sounds best for you. (See the types of massage page) But don't fret if you can't decide I will help you. When you come in we will discuss what outcome you are looking for and then I will help you decide on a type of massage which would be best for your needs.
1st. You will be required to fill out a health form so I can be aware how to help you best, as well as make sure there are not any contra-indications on why you might not be able to receive a massage. Example; some prescribed medications cause massage to be dangerous. Kind of like mixing alcohol and medications. Not a good idea.
2nd. after we have discussed any questions you may have and I have had a chance to look over your health form I will explain how to get your self set up I will then leave and give you, your privacy. Once i feel you are ready for me I will knock and confirm that you are ready then I will come in and start the massage.
If for any reason you feel uncomfortable be sure to tell me so that i might be able to make you feel more comfortable. I can't help you feel better and give you a good experience if you don't speak up if you are uncomfortable or want more or less pressure. Communication is key.
3rd. Possibly the most important of all is to be certain to drink plenty of H2O before and after your massage.
Massage gets your blood and fluids flowing. This Will cause you to become dehydrated if you don't normally drink the recommended amount of water each day. Causing you to feel light headed and woozy. Even occasionally leaving you with a headache. No one wants to feel that way after getting a great massage. It's quite simple just drink a little more water. Just 1 bottle of water immediately after your massage will make a great difference.
Any questions just E-mail me at [email protected] Please DO NOT send any medical or personal information over the internet for ANY reason, that includes emails, Facebook, or any other network used. If you have a question relating to health please call me.
